It is the metallic or chrome enamel of special effect that makes it resemble a mirror. It embellishes and makes surfaces and objects such as: friezes, frames, cups, medals, Christmas ornaments, and more shiny. It does not resist abrasion. When applied, it should not be exposed outdoors, handled or overpainted.
